busy days
We’ve been crazy busy here, and Logan and I have both been really sick. Thus the fact that I haven’t been posting. I have been taking my Project 365 pictures and will get them up as soon as I format them for the blog. I’m hoping that the wee Logan and I are on our way out the this viral mess that we’ve been in because it’s getting really old really fast.
We have an exciting event with Hunter’s class next week and I am so thrilled to be a part of it. The First Grade Inaugural Ball! Hunter’s teacher and I talked about how to celebrate this historical event (the Inauguration of our 44th president) and in the end came up with “the ball”. I don’t know that there will be much dancing at the ball (but there will be some) but there will be lots of other really fun (and oh so Presidential) activities. We have book to read, an art project to do, some trivia games and a very special (cardboard) visitor coming to the class who will be there to have his picture taken with the kids. Everyone is “dressing up” for the ball!
I’ll be in the kitchen all weekend baking up some red, white and blue treats and making “party favors”. I’m so excited! Remember, on Tuesday, that it’s not so much about politics, but more about this amazing day in American History.

Anna, apparently I’ve had my head in the sand, because I just found out now that you’ve been battling cancer! I’m so very sorry to hear that, and I will add you to my prayer list right away!
